DRPILLA’s Creston Avenue Residence was awarded an AIA Brooklyn + Queens Design of Excellence Award within the Residential Multiple Family/Multiple Dwelling category.
Serving as the structural and civil engineers, DRPILLA teamed with Magnusson Architecture and Planning, PC to complete the 64,000 square foot building complex. The ten-story building includes 66 units of affordable housing in the Bronx, with 21 units set aside for chronically homeless adults. The structural framing of the building consists of eight inch hollow core concrete plank floors and roof without concrete topping supported on CMU walls. DRPILLA is honored to have been a part of this incredible project.
