Structural analysis and design of various building framing and foundation systems, both gravity and lateral, in structural steel, reinforced concrete, wood and masonry following building codes such as AISC steel manual, ACI 318, ACI 530, NYC Building Codes and ASCE 7. Structural modeling and analysis utilizing Revit, Sap2000, MIDAS, ROBOT, and RAM. Detail design utilizing Autodesk Advance Steel, create and review shop drawings for steel connections and stairs. Create framing plans, sections, details, demo plans and SOE drawings utilizing AutoCAD. Prepare calculation binder, design beams, columns and footings for steel, concrete and masonry structures utilizing Enercalc and other duties.
Master’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering. Must have completed courses(any level accepted) in Applied Structural Design, Finite Element Method, Plates and Shells, Prestressed Concrete Design, & Structural System and Optimization. Proficiency in AutoCAD, Ram, Sap2000, Revit and Enercalc. Knowledge of building codes of AISC steel manual, ACI 318, ACI 530, NYC Building Codes and ASCE 7 required.
