06.29.2016 – Yesterday evening, The Society of American Registered Architects (SARA) New York celebrated the 2016 award winners at a gala in lower Manhattan. Among the Design Awards of Merit winners was the Creston Avenue Residence. Serving as the structural and civil engineers, DRPILLA teamed with Magnusson Architecture and Planning, PC to complete the 64,000 square foot building complex. The building includes ten stories of affordable housing in the Bronx. The structural framing of the building consists of eight inch hollow core concrete plank floors and roof without concrete topping supported on CMU walls. DRPILLA is honored to be part of this incredible project.
