Project Description

Connie Lamos
Staff Engineer

Ms. Lamos joined DPRILLA in 2019 as a recent graduate from The George Washington University where she obtained her bachelor’s degree in Civil and Environmental Engineering with a minor and concentration in Sustainability. Having already attained certification as a LEED Green Associate, she is able to align her knowledge of green building strategies and apply them to sustainable designs in today’s built environment. Prior to joining DRPILLA, Ms. Lamos interned at a consulting and engineering design firm within the water and utilities sector. In this role she worked alongside clients and industry personnel to develop integrated civil and structural designs necessary for projects ranging from large scale underground utility projects, complex pump stations and water treatment plants. Her professional trajectory is preparing her for future licensing as a Professional Engineer and LEED AP accreditation. Currently, she is an active member of the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) and Engineers Without Borders (EWB).

Originally raised in South Florida, Ms. Lamos decided to pursue her professional career in New York to incorporate sustainable engineering practices in an urban setting. In her free time she enjoys traveling, yoga and achieving her goal of eating at every restaurant in New York City.
