Structural and Civil Design
This project features a 7,000 SF completely renovated private residence with site retaining walls. DRPILLA provided comprehensive structural and civil design from preliminary approval to project completion. The house construction consists of wood framing with clapboard siding and stone veneer. The foundation of the existing house was replaced while the existing building was elevated and supported by temporary shoring frames. The construction of the retaining walls is cast in place concrete. Included in our scope of work was the evaluation of the 1.17 acre site for pre-development and post-development runoff. In turn, a complete drainage analysis and site plan was developed.
