This $9-million, K-12 public school consists of a two-story brick-face building with full basement. The basement has a walk-out façade on one elevation and the main and upper levels are approximately 16,500 SF each. The basement level is approximately 10,000 SF. The total building floor area is 43,000 SF. The building’s construction type is a steel moment frame with metal deck and concrete floor construction, spread footings and cast-in-place foundation walls. The exterior walls are a “curtain wall” application and interior walls are cold-formed partition walls.
