Bronx, NY
|
A new (7)
Seven-story building with cellar. The building
is approximately 41,824 square feet of
accessible space. An elevator and two separate
stair bulkheads are on the 7th floor roof level.
Floor-to-floor heights for the cellar, main
level, floors 2 through 6 and 7th floor are
10’-0”, 12’-0, 10’-0” and 12’-8” respectively.
The south and east elevations of the 7th floor
have a sloped mansard façade with 20 gable roof
dormers with windows in each. The cladding of
the mansard roof is standing seam metal roofing
material. The main level façade is stucco finish
and all other exterior walls are brick veneer.

The footings
and cellar walls are cast-in-place concrete. The
typical structural wall construction is concrete
block with the exception of the 7th level sloped
mansard façade which is structural cold form
metal stud construction.
The typical floor and roof construction is
hollow core concrete plank. Maximum plank span
is 27’. A structural bond beam is designed for
the entire perimeter, at each level, below the
plank. All non load-bearing partition
construction is cold formed metal framing. All
partition walls have deflection track.
