A new 9,500 SF mezzanine was designed inside an existing 4-story, 40,000 SF building to accommodate a children’s school. The entire mezzanine is supported on four columns giving way to 20ft cantilever floors. The mezzanine is located between the 2nd and 3rd floors. Constructed from steel framing members with concrete deck.

Orangetown, NY
New 15,000 SF community center facility with interior basketball court which required a long span truss system design. The proposed building was designed on spread footings with steel lateral load resisting frame. The lateral design of the building incorporated x-bracing and moment frame design.
