An existing 14,000-SF slab-on-grade building located in Suffern, NY was modified structurally to allow for new entry vestibules and waiting areas. The mechanical system was gutted and redesigned to meet the standards of a highly sterile environment, and incorporates an integrated passive solar system. The scope included staff interviews and programming. The facility includes doctor’s offices, administrative spaces, conference rooms and a stabilization station. All interiors were designed and detailed by DRPILLA. The project is pursuing LEED® silver certification.
