As Director of Engineering at DRPILLA, Gary oversees and leads our engineering division across various disciplines, fostering a culture of collaboration, creativity, and continuous improvement within our engineering teams. As the Director of Operations, Rosanne seamlessly combines her extensive background in computer programming and information systems with her exceptional management skills to orchestrate the office. At DRPILLA, Jackie takes the helm in driving the firm’s marketing endeavors, which include the pursuit of new projects. In close collaboration with the company’s technical leaders, she takes the lead in identifying, cultivating, and executing marketing initiatives that are closely aligned with the firm’s strategic objectives. Her unwavering commitment extends to the enhancement of marketing services through the optimization of processes, improved efficiency, and the establishment of industry best practices throughout the firm. Notably, Jackie’s role benefits from her prior experience as a board member at the Society of Marketing Professional Services (SMPS), where she gained valuable insights that she now brings into her current position.

Jonathan is an accomplished Project Manager with over seven years of structural engineering experience. With a background in civil engineering and a focus on structural design, Jonathan has worked on a wide range of projects, demonstrating his versatility and proficiency in the field. His experience spans from mixed-use and commercial high-rise buildings to residential, institutional, and industrial complexes. In 2021, Michael became a valued member of the DRPILLA team, bringing with him over 13 years of extensive experience in billing and finance gained through his tenure at various Fortune 500 companies. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance with a minor in Economics from the John F. Welch College of Business, which is affiliated with Sacred Heart University. Leveraging his advanced expertise in project billing and analysis, Michael assumes the crucial responsibility of offering support and recommendations for all projects based on a comprehensive review of financial records. In his capacity as the billing manager, Michael collaborates closely with project managers to acquire and verify project-related financial data. This includes projected monthly billings, established percentage allocations, timelines, and other relevant terms specified in contracts.

In 2020, Anu joined DRPILLA and has proven to be a valuable asset to our structural practice making significant contributions. His portfolio encompasses a wide array of projects, such as designing mid-rise residential and commercial developments, overseeing townhome and penthouse renovations, and leading historical restoration endeavors for various buildings. Anu’s design expertise extends to various building types, including both conventional and post-tensioned concrete structures, steel constructions, and masonry structures, serving a diverse range of purposes such as commercial, educational, residential, institutional, and cultural edifices. Anu’s role as a Project Manager has played a pivotal part in our continued success.

Since joining DRPILLA in 2017, Jennifer’s role has included the intersection of Human Resources and Accounting, making her an invaluable asset to our organization. She is responsible for overseeing and managing the financial aspects of our operations while ensuring the well-being of our staff. With a passion for optimizing business processes and an eye for detail, Jennifer is committed to maintaining the financial health of our company. Her extensive experience has been honed through a successful career that includes positions at leading institutions such as Pan Am, Readers Digest, Allstate Insurance and Sarah Lawrence College. Jennifer is an integral part of our team, fostering a supportive and efficient work environment that keeps our organization thriving.

As an architect, Daria specializes in civic design and housing projects. She explores these systems through active engagement with the environment, a rigorous analysis of site and program, and iterating on the design options that unfold. Through her work both locally and abroad, she understands the importance of building resilient infrastructure. Across a wide variety of project types, scales, and location, attention to detail is a prevailing theme across Daria’s work and has always formed the basis of her architectural responses. She believes in interdisciplinary collaboration as the best way to achieve truly transformative spaces, and a hands-on approach leads her to enjoy all phases of a project. With her fervor for these principles, combined with her academic foundation, Daria contributes a distinctive perspective to the creative process at DRPILLA.

Abdul serves as a Project Manager in our special inspections division and brings over seven years of construction, materials testing, and special inspection experience on a wide variety of public infrastructure projects, including residential, institutional, educational, and commercial facilities. He is responsible for performing on-site observation and coordination of special inspectors to ensure conformance with contract documents and Chapter 17 of the IBC, for testing and inspection for public and private facilities. Abdul is an ICC Special Inspector in structural steel and high-strength bolting, reinforced concrete, structural masonry, and spray-applied fireproofing, and an ACI Concrete Field Testing Technician and Concrete Construction.

Jamie is a dedicated Staff Engineer at DRPILLA and has been an essential part of our team since 2020, consistently making significant contributions to our projects. With a strong foundation in Autodesk Civil 3D, AutoCAD, and a range of engineering skills, she has proven her proficiency in design and analysis. Her communication skills, analytical abilities, and expertise in handling design specifications, calculations, and site plans have made her an invaluable asset to our team. Jamie holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. Her involvement in associations such as the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE), co-captaining the Upstate NY ASCE Concrete Canoe Team, and her role as a Fund Coordinator for the 2018 Upstate NY ASCE Conference Committee reflect her commitment to professional development and community engagement. With her diverse experiences and skills, Jamie is a valuable member of the DRPILLA team, contributing significantly to the success of our projects.

Janusz brings extensive engineering experience working on large projects for New York City agencies including the School Construction Authority, Metropolitan Transportation Authority, Department of Environmental Protection, as well as the Department of Transportation. He brings over 25 years of experience in structural design, including structural analysis and review of a variety of building types. Janusz has extensive experience conducting New York City Local Laws 11/98 facade inspections, analyzing exterior and roof-level conditions, and developing programs for their repair and maintenance. His contributions throughout all project phases encompass comprehensive analysis, the development of construction documents, including specifications, trade coordination, and the review of shop drawings.

Pamela, our dedicated Operations Assistant, has been an integral part of the DRPILLA team since 2011, contributing her extensive administrative expertise gained through years of experience in the engineering industry. Beyond her tenure, Pamela plays a multifaceted role, supporting various aspects of our daily operations and upholding our established standards of excellence. At the heart of her responsibilities lies the seamless coordination and facilitation of office functions. Pamela’s approachable nature fosters open communication channels within our team and makes her an excellent point of contact for our valued clients. Her ability to connect with others and address their needs with a welcoming demeanor strengthens our client relationships and enhances the overall experience of working with DRPILLA.

Collin became a part of the DRPILLA team following his graduation from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering in 2021. Since joining us, Collin has made notable contributions to our structural practice and also holds a pivotal role within our special inspections division. His unwavering dedication to detail and a meticulous approach have established him as a trusted asset for special inspections, ensuring that our projects consistently surpass industry standards. Collin’s diverse skill set, along with his commitment to his roles, solidifies his position as an indispensable member of our team, and his continued contributions remain instrumental in driving our success.

Anya joined DRPILLA in 2023 as a recent graduate from SUNY Delhi. Her passion for architecture, coupled with her commitment to continuous learning, makes her a key player in driving innovative design solutions for our clients. We eagerly anticipate the positive impact she will bring to our firm as she continues to evolve in her role as a Staff Architect.

Jhojandra joined DRPILLA in 2023 and has gained CAD drafting exposure and coordination between architectural, structural, and mechanical work. She supports project managers with understanding architectural drawings / specifications and prepares shop drawings for approvals, incorporates field dimensions, and drawing submittals. Her knowledge of tools and drafting to complete assigned tasks includes 2D and 3D modeling, completing changes, drawing production, and drafting using BIM / CAD platforms.

Dennis joined DRPILLA in 2023 and brings a fresh perspective and strong foundation in engineering principles to every project. He seamlessly integrates field dimensions and develops drawings submittals. Proficient in various tools and drafting techniques, his skill set spans 2D and 3D modeling, executing design modifications, and utilizing BIM / CAD platforms for drafting.
