NYC SPECIAL INSPECTIONS
As an experienced and fully qualified Class I Special Inspection and Progress Inspection agency, DRPILLA provides a complete spectrum of inspection services to help clients fulfill New York City Department of Buildings (NYCDOB) regulations. Our qualified special inspectors perform inspections as listed on the TR-1 Technical Report Statement of Responsibility, necessary for filing and obtaining construction permits with the NYCDOB. We are capable of monitoring structural changes in building components for projects ranging in scope from demolition, alternation, renovation to new construction regardless of size and complexity.
DRPILLA is officially recognized as an International Accreditation Service (IAS)-accredited Class I Special Inspection Agency (SIA). The DOB requires an engineering firm be accredited by IAS or an equivalent organization for such inspections to be valid for all Class I projects. DRPILLA provides a full range of New York City Special Inspection services to support our clients’ needs. This includes mechanical special inspections, architectural inspections, structural inspections, as well as many other inspection types. This extensive range of inspection services has allowed the firm to become a single source provider to its clients throughout the life cycle of their buildings, from initial infrastructure to ongoing operations and renovations.
