Having originally specialized in long span structures, he has seamlessly diversified his skills to encompass both building rehabilitation and new construction projects. As Director of Engineering at DRPILLA, Gary oversees and leads our engineering division across various disciplines, fostering a culture of collaboration, creativity, and continuous improvement within our engineering teams. Beyond his technical mastery, Gary’s leadership aptitude is evident in his meticulous guidance of design teams, documentation processes, and seamless project execution. As the Director of Operations, Rosanne seamlessly combines her extensive background in computer programming and information systems with her exceptional management skills to orchestrate the office. Her daily responsibilities encompass a wide spectrum, spanning from human resources to financial planning and management. Rosanne’s strength lies in her holistic approach to company operations, aligning all elements of the organization to ensure a cohesive and efficient strategy.

In 2021, Michael became a valued member of the DRPILLA team, bringing with him over 13 years of extensive experience in billing and finance gained through his tenure at various Fortune 500 companies. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance with a minor in Economics from the John F. Welch College of Business, which is affiliated with Sacred Heart University. Leveraging his advanced expertise in project billing and analysis, Michael assumes the crucial responsibility of offering support and recommendations for all projects based on a comprehensive review of financial records. In his capacity as the billing manager, Michael collaborates closely with project managers to acquire and verify project-related financial data. This includes projected monthly billings, established percentage allocations, timelines, and other relevant terms specified in contracts.

Pamela, our dedicated Operations Assistant, has been an integral part of the DRPILLA team since 2011, contributing her extensive administrative expertise gained through years of experience in the engineering industry. Beyond her tenure, Pamela plays a multifaceted role, supporting various aspects of our daily operations and upholding our established standards of excellence. At the heart of her responsibilities lies the seamless coordination and facilitation of office functions. Pamela’s approachable nature fosters open communication channels within our team and makes her an excellent point of contact for our valued clients. Her ability to connect with others and address their needs with a welcoming demeanor strengthens our client relationships and enhances the overall experience of working with DRPILLA.

In 2025, Bridget became a valued member of the DRPILLA team as Proposal Manager, bringing extensive administrative expertise and years of experience in the engineering industry to support the firm’s proposal development and marketing department.

Nancy joined DRPILLA in 2025 as Accounting and Human Resource Manager, bringing extensive professional and years of experience to support the firm’s Accounting and Human Resource department.

Jonathan is an accomplished Project Manager with over seven years of structural engineering experience. With a background in civil engineering and a focus on structural design, Jonathan has worked on a wide range of projects, demonstrating his versatility and proficiency in the field. His experience spans from mixed-use and commercial high-rise buildings to residential, institutional, and industrial complexes. Over the course of his career, he has consistently delivered exceptional results, ensuring that each project he undertakes meets and often exceeds the highest industry standards. Jonathan’s effectiveness extends to his exceptional communication skills, which enable seamless collaboration with architects, contractors, and clients. With his guidance, projects move fluidly from the conceptual stage to successful completion, demonstrating his essential role in our team’s ongoing success.

As an architect, Daria specializes in civic design and housing projects. She explores these systems through active engagement with the environment, a rigorous analysis of site and program, and iterating on the design options that unfold. Through her work both locally and abroad, she understands the importance of building resilient infrastructure. Across a wide variety of project types, scales, and location, attention to detail is a prevailing theme across Daria’s work and has always formed the basis of her architectural responses. She believes in interdisciplinary collaboration as the best way to achieve truly transformative spaces, and a hands-on approach leads her to enjoy all phases of a project. With her fervor for these principles, combined with her academic foundation, Daria contributes a distinctive perspective to the creative process at DRPILLA.

Jamie is a dedicated Staff Engineer at DRPILLA and has been an essential part of our team since 2020, consistently making significant contributions to our projects. With a strong foundation in Autodesk Civil 3D, AutoCAD, and a range of engineering skills, she has proven her proficiency in design and analysis. Her communication skills, analytical abilities, and expertise in handling design specifications, calculations, and site plans have made her an invaluable asset to our team. Jamie holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. Her involvement in associations such as the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE), co-captaining the Upstate NY ASCE Concrete Canoe Team, and her role as a Fund Coordinator for the 2018 Upstate NY ASCE Conference Committee reflect her commitment to professional development and community engagement. Mr. Elias joined the DRPILLA team following his graduation from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, where he earned a Bachelor of Architecture in 2025. Since joining the firm, Chris has made valuable contributions to our Architectural practice. His strong attention to detail and meticulous approach to each project have made him a trusted member of our team, supporting the delivery of high-quality architectural and engineering solutions.

Jhojandra joined DRPILLA in 2023 and has gained CAD drafting exposure and coordination between architectural, structural, and mechanical work. She supports project managers with understanding architectural drawings / specifications and prepares shop drawings for approvals, incorporates field dimensions, and drawing submittals. Her knowledge of tools and drafting to complete assigned tasks includes 2D and 3D modeling, completing changes, drawing production, and drafting using BIM / CAD platforms.

Dennis joined DRPILLA in 2023 and brings a fresh perspective and strong foundation in engineering principles to every project. He seamlessly integrates field dimensions and develops drawings submittals. Proficient in various tools and drafting techniques, his skill set spans 2D and 3D modeling, executing design modifications, and utilizing BIM / CAD platforms for drafting.

Mr. Vila joined the DRPILLA team following his graduation from Michigan State University, where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering in 2025. Since joining the firm, Brian has made valuable contributions to our Structural Practice. Patrick joined the DRPILLA team in 2021 following his graduation from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering.
