The house is constructed with wood framing, clad in clapboard siding, and adorned with stone veneer. In the renovation process, the foundation of the existing house was completely replaced, and temporary shoring frames were employed to elevate and support the existing structure. Notably, the house underwent a reorientation during the renovation, with the formal entry now positioned to face the vehicular approach and pool. The turreted porch has been extended to encircle the house, offering panoramic views of the bay.

DRPILLA played a key role, offering comprehensive structural and civil design services from initial approval through to the project's successful completion.
