Project Description

DRPILLA provided structural and civil engineering design services for the new 87,884-square-foot, 83-unit residential community known as Thomas and Lilly Keller Manor, in the Hunts Point neighborhood of the Bronx. Located on two vacant lots, between the MTA’s elevated rail line and the busy thoroughfare of Westchester Avenue, the two opposite buildings occupy Rogers Place and Westchester Avenue, which includes a house of worship and community facility that wraps around the corner site. Designed as a unified composition, the two buildings blend into one another, and create a perfect infill of the urban fabric.
